Unconditional Teaching

I am a university teacher, D&D game master, and feminist.

Teaching for me is a privilege and a passion: I love discussing literature and cultural artefacts with my students and I am proud of the fact that they trust me to be a reliable companion on their academic journey. It still fills me with great pride that my students nominated me for the Landeslehrpreis NRW 2019 and the Karl Peter Grotemeyer-Preis of Bielefeld University, the latter of which I was awarded in 2020.

In my seminars, I strongly focus on topics pertaining to gender and sexuality, death and dying, and the politics of representation in literature and culture.
